How early should I book for a wedding? +
We strongly recommend booking at least 3–6 months in advance for wedding receptions, especially for dates during wedding season (October–February). For large events (500+ guests), booking 6–12 months ahead ensures we can fully accommodate your requirements. We do accept last-minute bookings depending on availability — please call us to confirm.
Do you cater for large weddings with 500+ guests? +
Absolutely. We regularly cater weddings and events for 200 to 2000+ guests across Kolkata and West Bengal. Our largest event to date was a 3000-guest wedding reception in Salt Lake. We have the staff, equipment, and logistics experience to handle events of any scale without compromising on food quality or service.
Can I have a menu tasting before booking? +
Yes, menu tastings are available before booking, however they are chargeable. You and your family are welcome to visit our kitchen in Naktala,Garia to sample dishes from your proposed menu. This is also a great opportunity to make any changes or customisations before your event. Please contact us for tasting charges and availability.

Do you offer customised wedding menus? +
Yes, every menu we create is fully customised for your event. We don't use fixed package menus — instead, our team sits with you, understands your family's food preferences, your guests' dietary needs, and the scale of your event, then designs a menu tailored specifically for you. We specialise in Bengali, North Indian, Mughal, and Chinese cuisines and can mix and match across all four.
Can you accommodate vegetarian and dietary requirements? +
Absolutely. We can design fully vegetarian, vegan, or Jain menus on request. We also accommodate common allergies and dietary restrictions. Please inform us at the time of menu planning so we can ensure every guest is taken care of. We take food safety very seriously and our kitchen maintains strict hygiene standards.
Do you use fresh ingredients or pre-made food? +
We source all our vegetables, fish, and meat fresh every morning from trusted local suppliers. Nothing is frozen or pre-cooked. Our fish comes from reputed vendors in the Kolkata wholesale market, and we handpick spices from trusted suppliers. This commitment to freshness is why our food always tastes like home cooking.
Do you have live cooking counters? +
Yes! Live counters are a popular addition to our wedding packages. We can set up live biryani counters, pani puri stalls, bhel puri counters, tawa roti stations, and more. Live counters add an exciting, interactive element to your event and ensure food is served piping hot. Ask us about our live counter options when you call.
Logistics & Service
Do you provide serving staff for events? +
Yes, we provide fully trained serving staff for all events. Our standard ratio is 1 server per 25 guests for buffet-style events, and 1 per 15 guests for formal seated service. All staff are professionally dressed, trained in etiquette, and briefed on the menu. For large events, we also deploy a dedicated floor manager to oversee service quality.
Do you provide crockery, cutlery, and serving equipment? +
Yes, we provide complete crockery, cutlery, serving dishes, chafing dishes, and buffet setup equipment as part of our service. For traditional Bengali events, we can also provide sal leaf plates (pattas) and clay pots (matir bhanda) for an authentic touch. Decorative table linen and floral arrangements can be arranged on request.
Do you cater outside Kolkata? +
Yes! We regularly cater events across West Bengal including Howrah, Hooghly, North 24 Parganas, South 24 Parganas, Nadia, and Burdwan. For events further afield in Bengal or other states, additional logistics costs apply. Please contact us with your venue location and we'll provide a full quote.
